He stated, "Those in charge of preparation for the Olympics must take responsibility right now,” He said they "should take the courageous decision and tender their resignations. If they cannot, we will help them." Mr Medvedev showed his disgust by skipping closing ceremonies and allowing other officials to accept the Olympic flag for him.
