5 Yachtsmen detained by Iranian Security
Tehran is restraining 5 crew members of a British Racing craft in the Persian Gulf who may have unwarily strayed into the Iranian Waters. British media identified the five sailors as Oliver Smith, Sam Usher, Luke Porter, Oliver Young and David Bloomer. Ahmadinejad’s administration is stating that they will prosecute the British nationals if they intend to violate the “national security” of Iran.

Iran: “We’ve Suddenly Found Spies.”
Three American Hikers are being charged by Iranian law enforcement under the suspicion that they were conducting reconnaissance along the border. The three hikers: Shane Bauer, 27 years old, Sarah Shourd, 31, and Josh Fattal, 27 were all arrested back in late July for illegally crossing the Iranian border from Northern Iraq.
Their families denied the spying allegation in a joint statement Monday.
