Scott Brown Elected Senator in Massachusetts
Scott Brown, Republican, won a tremendous upset for the Massachusetts Senate election. Analysts are stating that this will throw a big wrench in Obama’s healthcare reform bill. The successful election of Senator Brown creates a one vote discrepancy on the necessary 60 for Harry Reid to overcome the filibuster on the healthcare bill. 
Al Qaeda lurking within the CIA?
On December 30th , Al Qaeda double-Agent Hammam Khalil Abu Mallal Al-Balawi detonated a suicide bomb killing four CIA officers and three CIA contractors. Another six CIA employees were wounded as well. 
Al-Balawi was an elite writer and recruiter for al-Hisba, al Qaeda's very protected website. In May intelligence officials read that he sought to rally groups to fight against their “opressor” the U.S. He also studied medicine in Turkey before moving to Jordan. 
$26 dollar Device to Intercept Predator Feeds
Iraqi Militants are now using software that can intercept live feeds from Predator Drones during Military operations.
By taking advantage of a communications link in the remotely flown operatives using a program known as SkyGrabber, is now possible for insurgents to see what a predator sees during operations. Intelligence of Predator flight paths enables militants to avoid fly bys, and surprise attacks.
Confusion in Copenhagen
A draft released by the U.N. at the Copenhagen climate talks states that the Global greenhouse gas emissions should be cut by at least 50% 85% or 95% by 2050 compared with 1990.

Developed countries shall provide "adequate, predictable, and sustainable financial resources, technology and capacity-building" to support the developing world in its fight to climate change, it said.

*Stocks in Asia were generally weak. The Nikkei, Hang Seng and Shanghai all fell between 1.3% and 1.7%, and Australia was off by 0.7%. However European indexes are currently unchanged on the session and US stock futures are fractionally higher as I write.
